There is no band in it, because a band is the part that grips. The bra is two full layers of fabric through the bust, anchored at the sides rather than crossing the back, and cut past the hip so it tucks in. That is the whole construction. One motion, over your head, and you are dressed.
There are copies of this tank. This is the one they copied.
We made the Sculpt Tank — our own pattern, our own factory, our own fabric spec. It worked, so it got cloned. The copies use our photos and a cheap generic tank they have never tested.

For most women through a normal day — errands, church, sitting with the grandchildren, a long afternoon out — yes. The support is spread rather than concentrated, which is why it does not announce itself the way a band does. A fair caveat, because you deserve one: if you are fuller busted and heading out to garden hard for four hours, treat this as a comfortable everyday support layer, not a replacement for a purpose-built high-support bra. It is honest about what it is.

It is cut past the hip and tucks in. The support is anchored at the sides instead of crossing the back, which is the part that usually causes the roll on shorter camisoles.

Spreading a load is the opposite of squeezing one. There is no band, no wire and no hook — the entire point of the construction is that no single part of it grips. The knit has four-way stretch, so it moves when you move rather than holding a fixed shape against you.

No straps cross the back, so there are no lines and no clasp bumps to press through. The double layer through the bust is what prevents show-through.

No — it is true to size, and that is new. We re-cut the pattern and re-graded every size from S to 4XL, so you order the size you normally wear. If we still get it wrong, we ship the right size free and you keep the first one.

It is partially sewn in rather than dropped into an open pocket, so it cannot shift out of position or disappear into the machine. Wash cold, tumble dry low or hang to dry. Skip the fabric softener — it coats the stretch fibres. Nothing else special.

Both. Most women wear it on its own at home and out on errands, then layer it under a cardigan, a blouse or a jacket. It is full coverage either way, and there is no bra underneath it.

A 66% polyamide, 34% elastane knit with four-way stretch. Two full layers through the bust — which is the part that does the holding — no wire, no hooks and no back closure of any kind.
